Easy All-Purpose Sandwich Buns

sandiwich buns

This recipe was given to me by my sister-in-law and it has become one of my most-used recipes.

It is so quick and easy to put together, and it can be used for ‘most anything – hamburger buns, biscuits, sandwiches, mini pizzas… really whatever you want!

In a large bowl, stir together the following:

2 cups flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

sandwich bun ingredients

Make a pool in the center, and pour in
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup yogurt or melted unsalted butter (I usually use yogurt.)

Mix well. If dough is too sticky to handle, add another 1/4 cup flour.

Form into desired size and shape — you can roll them out and cut with a biscuit cutter or just use your hands (I usually just shape them with my hands.)

sandwich buns on cookie sheet

Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes at 425 degrees.

Cool, slice and serve.

Enjoy!
