1-1.5 cups grated sharp cheddar (or other cheese of your choice)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp parsley
Instructions
Mix milk or yogurt with coconut oil.
Combine with flour, mixing just until flour is wet. Cover and leave overnight or for 8-12 hours.
Preheat oven to 425.
Add baking powder, salt, spices, and cheese, mixing just until combined well.
Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop rounded mounds of biscuit dough on a greased cookie sheet or baking stone.
Bake at 425 for 10 minutes.
If you don't have time to let the flour soak, you can use these alternate instructions: Mix together all dry ingredients, make a “well” in the middle. Combine oil and milk, pour into well and mix, just until blended. Add cheese and mix. Follow directions above to complete.
